Ouida Duncan, MBA, CPC, ELI-MP, exists comfortably at the intersection of being a humanitarian, coach and businesswoman.

I was known in the corporate world as "the fixer" with a gift of making order out of chaos.  I'm a creative who is a writer, poet and non-profit leader (since 2008) who became a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), a tool focused on enhancing emotional intelligence in leaders.

I have a passion for supporting and championing people on their path to enlightenment who enjoys using my listening skills to guide, encourage and empower individuals on a one-on-one basis so they can find out who they really are.  I completed my Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) certification through Cornell University--and to strengthen my business management skills,  earned my MBA in International Business at the University of Bath in Somerset, UK. 

I understand firsthand the mental, financial and emotional challenges most people are struggling with while trying hard to keep a brave face. As a single working mom of four daughters living and working in a big city, I've struggled while growing emotionally and spiritually to rise above my circumstances.  I've had to find my way out of situations that were mentally taxing, and faced financial and medical stresses, which is why I'm able to understand and listen with compassion to what people are going through.

My clients know that I listen carefully to what people say as well as what they don't say to quickly get to the root of their problems. 

AS "THE FIXER"

With two decades of experience working for global advertising agencies, I was frequently called upon by c-suite leadership to diagnose and rescue ailing accounts and dysfunctional teams. I've partnered closely with leadership to analyze issues, manage risks and design a plan to rebuild agency-client relationships and turn unprofitable accounts into thriving profit centers. With those skills in my back pocket, I saw a need in underserved communities and transitioned from ad industry in 2016 to lead www.duncantreefoundation.org a charity I founded in 2008, to serve as a bridge to healing, teaching and empowerment for disadvantaged communities around the world. I am clear that the evolution had to start with me.
